we came grom liverpool as a family to move our daughter to reading uni, it was an absolute perfect location 9 minute walk away from my daughters halls of residence, the hotel was spotless and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! either way out of the hotel a 6 min walk was food establishments so we where well fed! we couldn't have asked for a better hotel in a perfect location! room was spot on for 4 people double bed for me and wife and both daughter had a single bed each! none of the rubbish pull out beds you get at high end hotels or couch beds! we really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will be back when visiting our daughter for the next 4 years! highly recommended to all parents who have children at Reading uni! 👏

The Staff were very welcoming, friendly and super helpful. The Room was clean, fresh, modern and really well equipped: double bed, TV, wardrobe with hangers, fan, safe for valuables, fridge & freezer, microwave, plates, cutlery, kettle, cups, hairdryer, desk, chair. Great value for money. They also have an ice machine in the lobby. Located in an idyllic conservation area, the hotel was easy to get to from the Station via public transport and location was great for getting to and from work. There is also a carpark. There are lots of options for food and small supermarkets nearby. Looking forward to staying again in future!

Location was good and ample parking. And lovely helpful staff Found fact had fridge and microwave in was amazing but didn't know if this was advertised as would have brought more food/drink ( but I may have not noticed) but deffo should be a key feature you promote in pictures etc. Price was great and very competitive and size of the family room was huge (three beds one double and 2 single)

The girls on reception were lovely. The young man with blonde curly hair was also great. Exceptional service and welcome. Beds were comfy and facilities were really practical and helpful.

Traveling from Yorkshire on a budget to meet my teenage son, I had a warm welcome on check in and was offered a more spacious room with two comfortable beds PLUS … Two opening windows … Microwave, so my son was able to heat a ready meal at 9pm after arriving by train from Wales … and a Fridge! The free parking in this central location was essential for me, and for under £40 this is a rare occasion when all my expectations were met and exceeded. Thank you.

The price was definitely welcome as were the staff from the minute we arrived they were extremely pleasant, to the extent of offering to take a photograph when we were all dressed up and ready to go out. The accommodation was well equipped while at the same time being basic. The kitchenette had fridge microwave crockery etc which is more than you would normally be provided with. It wasn’t palacios but had everything you need for a short stay and at £38.50 a night what more could you want.

Amazing value for money. Huge free car park, very comfortable beds, fantastic hot, powerful shower, room came with tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge and microwave! Staff were extremely helpful, amenable to our needs and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a comfortable place to rest your head.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable the shower was brilliant. The two ladies behind the reception were friendly and couldn't do enough for you.. one of the ladies called Katie has just rung me to say that I've left my darts and bless her she's is going to send them on to me..this kind of receptionist should be working in every hotel she's a credit to you and I will be staying again and telling all my darts colleagues to stay here as well.

Great for a family on a budget. There was a full sized fridge ( not just a little mini bar sized one), a microwave, a kitchen sink, and some crockery and cutlery. We were able to prepare our on breakfast and snacks, which really suited travelling on a budget. The bus stop was nearby and we were able to get into city centre/ train station easily on the 21 Claret.There was also onside parking. This was a lovely residential area of Reading. The double with single bed, room was very large.

good parking availability on site, rooms are basic but clean and staff at reception were polite and friendly. the price was good considering other hotel charges during uni graduation season. Location was ok for our needs and probably a 20/25 minute walk to the town center and 15 minutes to the location of the uni graduation buildings.
