we came grom liverpool as a family to move our daughter to reading uni, it was an absolute perfect location 9 minute walk away from my daughters halls of residence, the hotel was spotless and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! either way out of the hotel a 6 min walk was food establishments so we where well fed! we couldn't have asked for a better hotel in a perfect location! room was spot on for 4 people double bed for me and wife and both daughter had a single bed each! none of the rubbish pull out beds you get at high end hotels or couch beds! we really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will be back when visiting our daughter for the next 4 years! highly recommended to all parents who have children at Reading uni! 👏

The Staff were very welcoming, friendly and super helpful. The Room was clean, fresh, modern and really well equipped: double bed, TV, wardrobe with hangers, fan, safe for valuables, fridge & freezer, microwave, plates, cutlery, kettle, cups, hairdryer, desk, chair. Great value for money. They also have an ice machine in the lobby. Located in an idyllic conservation area, the hotel was easy to get to from the Station via public transport and location was great for getting to and from work. There is also a carpark. There are lots of options for food and small supermarkets nearby. Looking forward to staying again in future!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tv and hair dryer were both working but were fixed after I reported the problems. The room was very well equipped - more so than expected (cooker, microwave and large fridge along with saucepans etc). The room was warm and comfortable with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was excellent with the choice of continental or cooked. We really appreciated the home made yogurt and the coffee was good. There was a very friendly and fully attentive member of staff looking after everyone in the dining room. It was reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.

As there were 3 of us staying we were upgraded to the club room for no extra cost , this was unexpected and a lovely gesture from the hotel lady at reception. the room was superb. Well stocked kitchenette and bathroom. good sized room, comfy beds, quiet. good hot showers with great water pressure. Lots of on site parking which was a real bonus. well located for access to the town , food sources and motorways.The reception team were very friendly and a male team member very kindly carried our luggage and showed us to our room.

The price was definitely welcome as were the staff from the minute we arrived they were extremely pleasant, to the extent of offering to take a photograph when we were all dressed up and ready to go out. The accommodation was well equipped while at the same time being basic. The kitchenette had fridge microwave crockery etc which is more than you would normally be provided with. It wasn’t palacios but had everything you need for a short stay and at £38.50 a night what more could you want.
